John A. “Jack” McGeehan, 94, of Lancaster, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at home. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth J. McGeehan, who passed away on November 6, 2017. He was born in Philadelphia, son of the late Edward and Winifred McHugh McGeehan. Jack worked as an electrician for RCA Corp before his retirement. He was a member of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church; was a graduate of Mahanoy High School, Class of 1942; was a veteran of the US Army, serving during WWII; and was a member of the American Legion Post #34.
He is survived by two sons: Robert J. McGeehan, Mountville and John K. (Susan) McGeehan, McDaniel, MD. One granddaughter: Katie McGeehan. He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
