Elva M. McGuigan, 93, of Lancaster, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2017 at Pleasant View Retirement Community. She was the wife of the late James R. McGuigan, Sr. Elva was born in Lancaster and worked at Schick before her retirement. She was a member of Lancaster Church of the Brethren.

Elva is survived by one son: Ken McGuigan. Five grandchildren. Six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by three sons: Edward L. McGuigan; Ronald E. McGuigan; and James R. McGuigan, Jr.

The Funeral Service will be held at the Workman Funeral Homes, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Mountville on Sunday, January 7, 2018, at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Dr. J. Calvin Wenger, officiating. Interment in Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Please omit flowers.
