James W. Reinfried, Sr., 87, of West Hempfield Township, passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2021. He was the husband of Dolores Marie Becker Reinfried. He was born in Lancaster, son of the late Charles H., Sr. and Margaret Fritsch Reinfried. Jim was a tool and die maker/designer, having worked for Graybill Tool and Die, Manheim, Microprecision, Mountville and AMP, Inc., Landisville. He was a co-founder and member of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church; a member of the Knights of Columbus; the Lancaster Liederkranz and was also a founding member of the Millersville Hunting Club. Jim enjoyed the outdoors, including hunting, fishing, hiking and camping.
Surviving in addition to his wife, his children: Linda M. (David) Wagner; James W. (Jeannie) Reinfried, Jr.; Michael A. (Theresa) Reinfried and Margaret C. (Edward) Milford. Eight grandchildren: David, Jr., Matthew, Jennifer, Kevin, Jason, Amanda, Daniel and James. Five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother: Charles H. Reinfried, Sr. Three sisters: Mary Jane Bohner, Margaret Frankson and Marion Penwell.
The Graveside Service and Burial will be held at St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery on Monday, October 4, 2021 at 10:30 A.M. Please omit flowers.
