Carole A. Sturgis, 74, of Willow Street, passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2022 at Lancaster General Hospital. She was born in Lancaster, daughter of the late Richard C., Sr. and Dollie M. Miller Platt. Carole worked as a pub room coordinator for RR Donnelley, Inc, before her retirement. She enjoyed reading and sewing.
She is survived by three daughters: Tracy L. (James) Fritsch, Peach Bottom; Lisa J. Trout and Heather J. Sanchez, both of Lancaster. Six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. One brother: Richard C. Platt, Jr., Texas. Two sisters: Sherry J. Reynolds and Connie Rankin, both of Lancaster.
