Loretta E. Snyder, 89, of Mountville, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy. She was the wife of the late Richard H. Snyder who passed away on March 5, 2022. She was born in Lancaster, daughter of the late Harry and Carrie Gerlitzki Peffer. Loretta worked as a produce manager at Redner’s Market, Columbia. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Lancaster.

She is survived by two daughters: Bonnie and Grace Snyder. Thirteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one grandson: Steven Lee Hanna.
