Stephen E. "Steve" Soldner, 71, of Mountville, passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at Lancaster General Hospital. Steve was the husband of Kathy M. Weidinger. He was born in Lancaster, son of the late Edward and Treva Stephan Soldner. Steve was a graduate of Lancaster Catholic High School, Class of 1969 and Millersville University, Class of 1974. He taught Industrial Arts and enjoyed cooking and projects.

Surviving in addition to his wife, one son: Eric Soldner; one daughter: Amanda Soldner and one step-daughter: Stacey Wettlaufer, all of Lancaster. Two grandsons: Taylor and Sean. One brother: Joseph (Sheila) Soldner, Lancaster. Two sisters: Linda (the late Sam) Reed, Florida and Mary (Jonathan) Klapper-Lehman, Virginia. Several nieces and nephews. Steve is also survived by Tess and Squirt, his much loved cat buddies.

The Graveside Service and entombment will be held at St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery on Friday, October 13, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or a favorite animal shelter of your choice.
