Raymond A. Miller, 77, of Mountville, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2023 at Lancaster General Hospital. He was the husband of Lynnette R. Bogart Miller with whom he celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary on November 21, 2023. Ray was born in Philadelphia, son of the late Joseph and Margaret Law Miller. Ray loved driving truck all of his life and was a driver for Flexsteel for forty years before retiring in 2014. He also worked for Penske truck leasing for nine years. Ray was a Veteran of the US Army serving during the Vietnam Conflict. He was a member of the Lancaster County Folk Music and Fiddlers Society; the Lancaster Fencibles and was a Civil War Reenactor. He enjoyed woodworking, baking and riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle.
Surviving in addition to his wife, one daughter: Andrea Miller (W. Mark) Amey, Lancaster. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by one brother: Joseph “Bud” Miller. One sister: Anna Marie McCarthy. One nephew: Joey Miller.
The Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Workman Funeral Homes, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Mountville, on SUNDAY, JANUARY 14, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 P.M. Interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
