Mary Lou Gentzler, 91, of Columbia, passed away on Monday, December 25, 2023 at home. She was the wife of the late Henry G. Gentzler, Sr. who passed away on August 23, 2016. Mary Lou was born in Columbia, daughter of the late Harry M. and Mildred E. Siltzer Bartch. She was an Accounts Payable Supervisor for Armstrong World Industries for over twenty years before her retirement in 1992. Mary Lou was a a lifetime member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. She volunteered with Meals on Wheels and family and funeral dinners at church. She was recognized by her church for her dedicated service. She enjoyed playing cards, board games, cooking, baking, traveling, casino's and getting together with her family every Saturday, her entire life, for lunch.

She is survived by one daughter: Kimberly K. Bell, Millersville. Four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, four step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son: Henry G. "Hank" Gentzler, Jr. Brothers: John and Harry Bartch, Jr. Sisters: Mildred Klinestever and Anna Garver.

The Funeral Service will be held at the Workman Funeral Homes, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Mountville, on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. The Viewing will be from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.
