Jane E. Mimnall, 86, of Charlotte, NC formerly of Washington Boro passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, April 16, 2024. She was born in Marietta, daughter of the late Joseph and Susan Ressler Roberts. Her beloved husband of 67 years, Donald J. Mimnall, Jr., passed away in 2021 and Jane often spoke of how she longed to be with him again in heaven. Spending most of her life in Washington Boro, Jane recently moved to North Carolina. After graduating high school, she worked for several years at AMP, Inc. and Donegal Insurance Company. She was a caring mother to her daughters Debbie and Kay and loved doting on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was happiest when surrounded by her family. For many years, she hosted an annual Christmas cookie party for friends, where her signature broccoli soup and chocolate chip cookies were the hit of the party. Jane loved the Lord and enjoyed collecting antiques, gardening, playing the piano and meeting up with friends at Hinkles, her favorite breakfast spot. She especially liked spending time with family at her mountain cabin retreat in Potter County.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Kay (David) Osisek, Charlotte, NC. Six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter: Debra Mimnall-Wagner and two sisters: Joane Ott and Mildred Millar.

The Graveside Service and Burial will be at Masonville Cemetery on Tuesday, April 23,2024 at 12:00 Noon followed by a luncheon at Faith Bible Fellowship Church, 151 Donerville Road, Lancaster.
