Rose Keller, 64, of Mount Joy, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2024, at home. She was the wife of Lee S. Keller, with whom she celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary on March 17, 2025. She was born in Lancaster, daughter of the late Clair L. and Ruth Leppo Crist. In 1983, Rose worked as an Independent Real Estate Title Searcher until 1999. Then she joined Lee and formed R & L Abstract Company, which continued until May of 2024 and finished her career working for Fidelity National Title for ten years. Rose's devotion to her church, Reformation Lutheran Church, was a large part of the woman we all loved. She continued to provide the weekly bulletin, play the piano, sing in the church choir, even when neuropathy made it almost impossible to bear. Losing her ability to do things for her church was the greatest disappointment for her. Rose's infectious smile, her love for family and devotion to her church will be what we remember most about her.
Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
"Our mother is a true example of all the fruits of the Spirit. Even during our rebellious adolescent years, she never hated us, nor showed a fit of rage towards us. She was always patient and kind, even when disciplining us. The way she chose to live her life will always be a major contributor to our becoming believers of Jesus, and for her to be called home during the day when He conquered death for all, tells us how much He genuinely loves her." Jason and Chad
Surviving in addition to her husband, two sons: Chad S. (Nicole L.) Keller, Landisville and Jason W. (Shanila K.) Keller, O'Fallon, IL. Eight grandchildren: Ava, Colin, Benjamin, Tristan, Derick, Nicholas, Emma and Victoria.
The Family would like to thank Dr. DeGreen, of Lancaster Cancer Center, and Hospice and Community Care for their hard work and kindness during Rose's year and a half battle with cancer.
