John J. Malehorn, 97, of Landisville, passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Luther Acres Manor. He was the husband of the late Jeanette Houck Malehorn. He was born in Salunga, son of the late Dalvin and Anna Brosey Malehorn. He worked as a farmer for twenty years and also as a feed mill operator for Heistand Mills and Agway, Inc., for twenty-five years before his retirement. John was the oldest member of Concordia Evangelical Lutheran Church and enjoyed gardening, his fruit trees, going to auctions, and woodworking.
He is survived by nieces and nephews. John was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters: Marie, Esther, Lloyd, Ruth, William, and Dalvin, Jr.

The Funeral Service will be held at Concordia Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3825 Concordia Road, Columbia, PA 17512 on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Mary Anne Kingsborough, officiating. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Please omit flowers.
