Melvin L. Shertzer, 81, of Millersville, went home to be with his Lord, on Friday, January 12, 2018. He was the husband of Kathryn M. Rohrer Shertzer with whom he was blessed with 60 years of marriage. He was born in Millersville, son of the late Melvin R. and Anna Leaman Shertzer. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family.

Surviving in addition to his wife, four children: Jay (Sylvia); Stephen (Deborah); Kay (Jeffrey) Diehl; and Scott (Terri). Ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one great-granddaughter.

A Celebration of Life with a Visitation will be held at Manor Church, 530 Central Manor Road, Lancaster, on SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 4, 2018, from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.
