Barbara A. Snyder, 89, of Wrightsville, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at home. She was the wife of the late Charles R. Snyder, who passed away on August 15, 2023. She was born in Wrightsville, daughter of the late William R. and Helen Murphy Young. Barbara was a presser for Roann Dress Company for 24 years before her retirement. She and her husband were "snowbirds", going to Melbourne, FL. Barbara enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, keno, sand tarts, bingo, the ocean, especially Rehoboth Beach, fishing and crabbing.

Surviving are four daughters: Roxy S. (Don) Pressel, Red Lion; Lynn (Dave) Grider, Columbia; Barbara J. (Chris) Winters, York and Sandra L. Snyder, Marietta. Three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers: Ralph Young, Frank Young and Donald Young.
