Diane F. Mellinger Edwards, 72, of Mount Joy, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy. She was the wife of the late Gerald S. Edwards, Jr. to whom she was married for 21 years before he passed away. Diane was born in Lancaster, daughter of the late John H. and Irma R. Books Mellinger, and step-mom: the late Rhoda Mellinger. She worked for Case New Holland for 24 years and retired from Physicians Support Systems. She attended LCBC and enjoyed walking, baking and reading. Diane wanted to thank her many friends and family who supported her through this difficult time.

She is survived by her step-children: Shannon (Stephanie) Edwards; Christian (Jamie) Edwards and Trevor Edwards. Grandchildren: Brendan, Brayden, Reese and Parker. Brother: Curtis Mellinger. She was preceded in death by her brother: Barry (Jeraline) Mellinger.

The Memorial Service will be held at LCBC, 2392 Mount Joy Road, Manheim on FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 8, 2024 at 4:00 PM with visitation time following the service. The Private Interment was in Cross Roads Cemetery.
