Alice A. Messersmith, 65, of Columbia, passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at home. She was born in Lancaster, daughter of the late Christian E., Sr. and Catherine M. Klinedence Coble. She worked as a technician/ solderer at ETEMCO, for many years. Having loved the Lord, Alice was a member of Victory Church and enjoyed crafts, gardening, the outdoors, butterflies, the beach, Riverfront Park, her grandchildren, her family and friends.

She is survived by her children: Jenn (Gregg) Odenwalt; Charlotte Messersmith (Montel); and Charles S. Messersmith, Jr. Four grandchildren: Erik, Victoria, Serenity and Joey. Siblings: Ed, Rebecca and Winona. She was preceded in death by three brothers: Donald Coble, Richard Coble and Christian Coble, Jr.
