Shirley A. Millhouse Boyd, 84, of Columbia, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at Susquehanna Valley Rehabilitation Health Care Center. She was born in Lancaster, daughter of the late Milton G. and Kathryn Jones Millhouse and was the oldest of six children. She was a graduate of Lancaster Catholic High School, Class of 1957 and was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church where she helped make Fastnachts. She was a baker and was known for her beautiful cakes. Shirley worked at Kahn-Lucas, the Comfort Inn and various grocery store bakeries. She retired from QVC.

She is survived by her siblings: Thomas (Beverly) Millhouse, Columbia; Constance (Norman) Meiskey, Columbia and James Millhouse, Mountville. One brother-in-law: Paul Steiner, West Hempfield Twp. Two grandchildren: Ryan and Laura Ierley. She was preceded in death by one daughter: Deidre Ann; brother: Charles Millhouse; sister: Joyce Steiner; and granddaughter: Amanda Place.

The Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 409 Cherry Street, Columbia on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Daniel C. Mitzel, Celebrant. Final Commendation and Farewell will be in Millersville Mennonite Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to: Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
