Fay A. McClune-Henry, 89, of Willow Street, passed away on Sunday afternoon, April 21, 2024 at Legends of Lancaster after a six month battle with heart failure. She was the wife of the late Paul L. McClune and the late Haines N. Henry. She was born in Martic Township, daughter of the late Lester B. and Minnie Sellers Herr. She worked in the Trust Department at Wells-Fargo Bank and was a member of the Rowdy Rankin Relay for Life Team, which was a passion for her due to surviving three types of cancer. For many years she went on mission trips to help others in need. She taught herself to knit and crochet and made countless baby sweater sets and afghans for family and friends.
She is survived by her children: Paula Fay McClune (Gary R.) Wilson, Lancaster and Paul L., Jr. (Kathleen M. Morrow) McClune, Morgantown. Grandchildren: Gabrielle Fay Wilson; Paul Vincent McClune; Keira Alice McClune and Emma Fay McClune. One sister-in-law, three nieces and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her brothers: John L. Herr; Albert H. Herr; Benjamin F. Herr and James S. Herr.
The Funeral Service will be held at West Willow United Methodist Church, 118 West Willow Road, Willow Street on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 11:30 A.M. The Viewing will be held from 10:30 A.M. until 11:30 A.M. Interment in Conestoga Memorial Park.
