Dr. Brittany Marie Gendy, 37, of Lancaster, returned to her Savior on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy, after a seven year battle with breast cancer. She was the wife of William Gendy with whole she celebrated their 12th anniversary on April 20, 2024. Brittany was born in Jamestown, NY, daughter of Craig Ludwiczak and Carol Fancher Johnson and step-daughter of Terry Johnson. She was a graduate of Fewsburg High School, Class of 2005, Jamestown Community College, Class of 2007, Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, Class of 2010 and earned her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree, where she met her husband. She enjoyed running and reading. She attended St. Monica and St. Augustine Coptic Orthodox Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband and parents, her children: Evelyn and Nicholas Gendy. One brother: Brett Ludwiczak.

The Funeral Service was held at St. Monica and St. Augustine Coptic Orthodox Church, 144 South Market St., Elizabethtown, on Monday, April 29, 2024. Interment was in Mountville Cemetery.
