Robert L. Fuhrman, 81, of York, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at Misericordia Nursing and Rehabilitation after a long, well fought battle with MS and Dementia. He was the husband of Kathleen M. Hess Fuhrman with whom he celebrated 54 years of marriage on April 7, 2024. Robert was born in York, son of the late Charles W., Jr. and Mae E. Shorts Fuhrman. He was a graduate of William Penn High School, York College and Penn State. Robert was a traffic manager for Metso, USA, Inc. for 40 years before his retirement and was a member of Kreutz Creek Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed volunteering as a counselor for the York County Area Agency on Aging, fishing, karate, photography, wood carving and music.
Surviving in addition to his wife, one son: Brian M. Fuhrman, York and two grandchildren: Alex Fuhrman, Fort Collins, CO and Natalie Fuhrman, York.

The Memorial Service will be held at Kreutz Creek Presbyterian Church, 85 Old Church Road, York, PA 17406 on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Kelly Shiflett, officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Interment in Kreutz Creek Cemetery. Please omit flowers.
