Kenneth F. Jenkins, 88, of Lititz, passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2024. He was the husband of Janice E. Miller Jenkins with whom he would have celebrated 59 years of marriage on October 16, 2024. Kenneth was born in Manheim, son of the late Walter R. and Bertha E. Frey Jenkins. He was a graduate of Manheim Central High School, Class of 1954 and was a veteran of the US Army, having served from 1959 to 1962. Kenneth was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ. He retired in 2003 from Longenecker's Hatchery, Inc. after 29 years there. He enjoyed golf, reading, music and following the Oakland A's baseball team. Kenneth had a great sense of humor, loved history and was dearly loved by his family and friends.
Surviving in addition to his wife, one son: Mark S. Jenkins and one daughter: Karen L. Jenkins. One sister: J. Carol Mackley. Brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Michael (Sally) Miller. He was preceded in death by his brother: Robert W. Jenkins and brother-in-law: Calvin Mackley.
The Memorial Service will be held at Trinity United Church of Christ, 2340 State Street, East Petersburg, PA 17520 on Friday, August 23, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. The Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Private interment in Trinity UCC Cemetery. Please omit flowers.
