Doris J. Sneath, 95, of the Mennonite Home, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024 at her residence. She was the wife of the late C. Richard Sneath, who passed away on January 2, 2014. She was born in Lititz, daughter of the late Harvey Eckert and Florence Shirk Gulzenlichter. Doris worked as an executive secretary for Schick, Corporation for many years and also as a bookkeeper, for Standard Acoustical, before her retirement. She was a member of Hempfield United Methodist Church and enjoyed crocheting, cooking, traveling and her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by one daughter: Carol A. (Ronald L.) Wile, Mount Joy. Two grandchildren: Kristin M. (Brent) Kreider, Lititz and Jonathan R. (Rebecca) Wile, West Hempfield Township. Four grandchildren: Benjamin R. (Kati) Kreider, Alaska; Alissa M. Kreider, Lititz; Ethan J. Wile and Emma K. Wile, both of West Hempfield Township. One great-great-granddaughter: Winonna M. Kreider, Alaska.

The Funeral Service will be held at the Workman Funeral Homes, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Mountville on Friday, January 26, 2024 at 2:00 P.M with Pastor Scott Marshall, officiating.
